U.S. CPSC Clothing Storage Cabinet Safety Standards and STURDY Act Updates, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has published a new mandatory furniture tipping standard in the Federal Register on November 25, 2022.

It is a safety restriction for cabinets that are not fixed on the wall or that are movable to prevent children from being crushed due to the weight of the cabinet when opening the drawer.
